- Hank Harms, CEO of Harmsco, identified the need for solar power at his plant, which required a new roof that met current building codes on one of his over 30-year-old buildings.
- The team at Clear Span Structures recommended a long-term solution with a new Butler MR-24 Standing Seam Metal Roof System, the industry’s most specified metal roof system.
- Mr. Harms had recently seen a presentation by a local solar panel manufacturer. They thought it was the ideal time to undertake this project and add solar panels to a new roof to provide power and reduce current energy costs at Harmsco’s Riviera Beach manufacturing plant.

- Installation of a new Butler MR-24 Standing Seam Metal Roof over the Roof with a rack system holding 912 solar panels WITHOUT roof penetrations, maintaining the integrity and warranty of the standing seam roof.
